Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice to avoid a $120.00 cancellation fee. Otherwise, $120.00 will be charged.

Most private insurances are able to cover the cost of registered social worker services. Please inquire with your insurance provider for more information about your coverage. An e-invoice after each session will be provided to you via email so you can submit a claim to your insurance provider.

The standards of practice require Registered Social Workers to hold in strict confidence all information that you share with me. Everything discussed in sessions, including the initial consultation, is confidential and cannot be shared with a third party without your consent. However, there are some exceptions that require a duty to report:

• Disclosure of child abuse.

• Disclosure of abuse by a registered health professional.

• Disclosure that you may be at risk of harm to yourself and others, or know someone who is.

• Subpoena of session records by a court of law.
